Company History

Sun-Belt Properties, formerly BKG Investments, was founded in 1996.  Its founding premise was to build a high quality real estate investment portfolio through strategic acquisitions in its local marketplace.

In 2006, the company decided to pursue a niche opportunity to expand its portfolio into the Southern Utah and Nevada regions.  It was at that time that the company re-located its operations to Utah's "Sun Belt" or more formerly know as Utah's "Dixie". 

Pursuant to its portfolio expansion, the company launched a cutting-edge development and construction service to third-party & joint-venture clients. The company name was changed at that time to Sun-Belt Properties. Registered affiliates now include Sun-Belt Construction and Sun-Belt Homes.

Since its inception in 1996, Sun-Belt Properties has grown its development and construction operations into four distinct arenas. They are: In-fill Retail, Suburban Office, light industrial, and Custom Home Construction. 

Commercial construction services are provided by a sister company, Sun-Belt Construction. Sun-Belt Construction is a licensed general contractor in the state of Utah.  

Custom home building services are provided by Sun-Belt Homes which is a registered affiliate of Sun-Belt Construction.

Sun-Belt Properties currently operates in Utah and Southern Nevada with offices in St. George Utah. With over 45 years of real estate experience at its helm, the Sun-Belt Properties team is well equipped with the tools and skills necessary to tackle any of its client's needs.
